Shila Behjat

Shila Behjat (born 1982) is a journalist, writer and presenter of German-Iranian heritage. She studied law in Hamburg and Paris, worked as a correspondent in London and lived in India as a freelance journalist. For the women’s portal Aufeminin.com, she reported on gender equality in the European Union. As a culture editor at ARTE, she was responsible for documentaries and new formats. Her debut, *Raising Sons as a Feminist*, was published in 2024, followed by *Women and Revolution* in 2025. She has also worked as an on-camera and event presenter.
