Lene Albrecht

Lene Albrecht, born in Berlin in 1986, studied cultural studies in Frankfurt (Oder) and literary writing at the Leipzig Institute of Literature. Her debut novel, »Wir, im Fenster«, was published in 2019. She received a research grant from the Berlin Senate for her work on »Weiße Flecken«. Albrecht was also a scholarship holder of the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen Foundation, the Klagenfurt Literature Course and the Jürgen Ponto Writing Workshop. She worked as a freelance editor, journalist and moderator, including for Deutschlandfunk Kultur. Alongside her literary publications, she created multimedia works and collaborations, including the sound installation »CALL HOME« and the video series »GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS«.
