Natalie Amiri (born 1978 in Munich) is a German-Iranian journalist, television presenter and author. She studied Oriental Studies and Islamic Studies at Otto-Friedrich University in Bamberg. A scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service took her to the universities of Tehran and Damascus. From 2014, she presented the programs Weltspiegel and the BR European affairs magazine Euroblick. From 2015 to 2020, she headed the ARD bureau in Tehran. Her books include Zwischen den Welten (2021), Afghanistan (2022) and Der Nahost-Komplex (2025). In 2022, she was named Politics Journalist of the Year by medium magazin; in 2023, she received the Glas der Vernunft award.
