Francesca Cavallo

Francesca Cavallo is an author and theatre director. Her award-winning plays have been staged in several European countries. In 2011, she began collaborating with Elena Favilli; together they created the children’s book series Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. The first volume was published in 2016 and became a bestseller in 44 countries. The project was funded through a crowdfunding campaign supported by around 20,000 people from 71 countries. Cavallo also founded Sferracavalli, an international festival of sustainable imagination in southern Italy, and worked as creative director at Timbuktu Labs.
