Musa Okwonga

Musa Okwonga, born in London in 1979, is a British-Ugandan writer, journalist and musician. He has written essays and articles on culture, racism, gender, music, sport, politics and technology. His work has appeared in publications including The Economist, The Guardian, The Independent, The New Statesman, The New York Times, Die Zeit and taz. He has published two books about football as well as a volume of poetry.
