Anna Hetzer

Anna Hetzer, born in 1986, studied medicine, philosophy and literature in Berlin, Paris and London before working as a physician. She has published poetry, essays and translations in journals and anthologies. Her poetry collections include Zwischen den prasselnden Punkten (2016), Stempelkissenbuch (2017), Kippbilder (2019) and Pandoras Playbox (2022). Hetzer was a fellow of Villa Decius in Kraków in 2017 and received a Wolfgang Weyrauch Promotional Award in 2021. In 2018, she was a finalist for the Meran Poetry Prize and the Ulla Hahn Prize. She also worked with the G13 poetry collective and in collaborations with artists from music, signed-language performance and the visual arts.
