Timo Brandt

Timo Brandt was born in Düsseldorf in 1992 and grew up in Hamburg. From 2014 to 2018, he studied literary writing at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He was a co-editor of the literary journal JENNY and worked as a literary critic for various journals and online magazines. Brandt has published poetry and essays in literary journals and anthologies. His poetry collections include Enterhilfe fürs Universum (2017), Ab hier nur Schriften (2019), Das Gegenteil von Showdown (2020), and Nach-umahmungen (2023). He was an artist in residence at PROSANOVA 17 and received the Gisela Scherer Scholarship in 2019.
