Leona Stahlmann

Leona Stahlmann, born in 1988, is a writer and screenwriter who has also worked as a journalist and event organiser. Her debut novel, “Der Defekt,” was published in 2020. She received the Hamburg Literature Advancement Award and the Wortmeldungen Förderpreis, as well as a fellowship from the Romanwerkstatt at Berlin’s Literaturforum im Brecht-Haus. For “Diese ganzen belanglosen Wunder,” she received a work grant from the German Literature Fund.
