Luna Ali was born in Syria in 1993. She studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice in Hildesheim, literary writing at the German Literature Institute Leipzig, and anthropology at Leipzig University. As an author, she contributed to productions at the theatres in Düsseldorf, Dortmund, and Hanover, as well as to productions in Berlin. In 2023, she received the Berlin Senate’s work scholarship for German-language literature.
