Volker Weiß (born 1972) is a German historian and writer. He holds a doctorate in history and researches the history and contemporary presence of the far right, as well as National Socialism, racism, and antisemitism. He has written as a specialist contributor for publications including Die Zeit, Zeit Geschichte, Jungle World, Frankfurter Rundschau, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, taz, and Spiegel Online. His books include Modern Anti-Modernity: Arthur Moeller van den Bruck and the Transformation of Conservatism (2012) and The Authoritarian Revolt: The New Right and the Decline of the West (2017), which was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize.
