Joelle Tourlonias

Joëlle Tourlonias (born 1985 in Hanau, Germany) studied visual communication with a focus on illustration and painting at Bauhaus University Weimar. She became a freelance illustrator in 2009 and illustrated more than 120 books, including “Frau Honig,” “Der magische Blumenladen,” and “Hummel Bummel.” Her first picture book, “Besuch bei Oma” (written by Andrea Hensgen), was selected for “Die Besten 7” in 2011 and received the Bad Iburger Children’s Literature Prize.
