Horst Bredekamp

Horst Bredekamp is a German art historian. From 1993 onward, he worked as a professor of art history at the University of Berlin; he taught art history at Humboldt University of Berlin and became spokesperson for the “Bild Wissen Gestaltung” Cluster of Excellence in 2012. In 2017, he was awarded the Schiller Prize of the city of Marbach.
