Nico Hofmann (born 1959 in Heidelberg) is a German film and television producer and director. He founded the production company teamWorx Television & Film and served as managing director of UFA Fiction. His notable works include the event films “The Tunnel,” “The Escape,” “Stauffenberg” and “Mogadishu,” the miniseries “Generation War,” the adaptation of Uwe Tellkamp’s “The Tower,” “Jesus Loves Me” and “The Physician.” Hofmann has received numerous awards for his work as a director and producer.
