Imke Ritzmann

Imke Ritzmann, Dr. phil., was born in Erlangen, Germany. She studied art history in Erlangen, Fribourg and Freiburg im Breisgau and completed her doctorate on the moated castle of Sulz-Glatt and Renaissance castle architecture in southern Germany. After a research traineeship at the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg, she worked for the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments in Baden-Württemberg in Tübingen and Esslingen, specializing in areas including monument inventory and urban heritage conservation.
