Francesco Francavilla is an Italian comic artist and writer. He collaborated with Scott Snyder on DC’s “Batman: The Black Mirror.” His other work includes “Zorro” with Matt Wagner, “Black Panther” with David Liss, and “Afterlife with Archie” with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. As both writer and artist, he created the series “The Black Beetle” and an adventure featuring Will Eisner’s character The Spirit. Francavilla received the Eagle Award and the Eisner Award.
