Chuck Dixon

Chuck Dixon is an American comic-book writer, editor, and publisher. From the 1990s onward, he wrote numerous stories for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, and other publishers. He is particularly known for his work on Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Green Arrow, Birds of Prey, Punisher, and Moon Knight. Dixon contributed to the creation of Batman villain Bane and was one of the principal writers of the crossover events Knightfall and No Man’s Land. His other work includes G. I. Joe, Airboy, Alien Legion, SpongeBob Comics, The Simpsons comics, and the comic adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. He also created original comics such as Winterworld and wrote the novel series Bad Times and Levon Cade.
