Doug Mahnke

Doug Mahnke is an American comic-book artist who published sequential art from the 1980s onward. He became known in the early 1990s for his work on „The Mask“, often in collaboration with writer John Arcudi. Together, Mahnke and Arcudi also created the science-fiction series „Major Bummer“. His other credits include an „Aliens“ miniseries, „Superman: The Man of Steel“, „Batman“, „Batman – Detective Comics“, „Green Lantern“, „JLA“, „Final Crisis“, „Justice League“ and „Superman/Wonder Woman“. According to the source biographies, Mahnke read his first Superman comic at the age of six.
