Tobias Krejtschi

Tobias Krejtschi, born in Dresden in 1980, studied illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2008. He worked as a freelance illustrator and author for agencies, magazines and publishing houses, and also taught illustration. His picture-book debut, “Die schlaue Mama Sambona,” was nominated for the 2008 German Youth Literature Award. Among his other notable works is an illustrated edition of Theodor Fontane’s “John Maynard.” Krejtschi’s books have been published in several languages and have received multiple awards.
