Sabine Wiemers

Sabine Wiemers was born in Mönchengladbach in 1965. She studied visual communication with a focus on illustration at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, graduating in 1995 with a diploma under Wolf Erlbruch. From 1994 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator for various publishers and illustrated numerous picture and children’s books. She also illustrated many stories for the television program “Die Sendung mit der Maus” and created work for Cargo Theater and WDR.
