Peggy Parnass studied in Stockholm, London, Hamburg and Paris. She worked as an actress, critic and translator, and wrote court reports for 17 years for the magazine Konkret, including reports on the Majdanek trials. Her published works include »Prozesse«, »Unter die Haut«, »Kleine radikale Minderheit«, »Süchtig nach Leben« and »Mut und Leidenschaft«. Her journalism was recognized with, among other honors, the Joseph Drechsel Prize, the Fritz Bauer Prize, the Biermann-Ratjen Medal and the Golden Dragon of St. George.
