Annette Lory

Annette Lory was born in 1968 in the Bernese Oberland. She spent periods in Ticino and French-speaking Switzerland, as well as extended periods in the United States and Latin America. She worked as a social worker and wrote for adults, children, and young people. Her debut novel, *Vom Fliegen ausser Atem*, was published by Kommode Verlag in 2016. Her literary work received, among other distinctions, the Baarer Rabe award and a work grant from the City of Zurich. She also published short stories and radio plays.
