Ingrid Strobl

Ingrid Strobl (1952–2024) was a German journalist and author. She studied German and art history in Innsbruck and Vienna and completed a doctorate on “Rhetoric in the Third Reich.” From 1977 onward, she worked as a freelance contributor for ORF, later as an editor at EMMA and as a freelance author of books, television and radio programs, including for WDR and SWR. Her publications include “Die Angst kam erst danach. Frauen im bewaffneten Widerstand gegen Faschismus und deutsche Besatzung.”
