Maureen Maisha Eggers is an educational scholar and author. In 2005, she completed a dissertation on racialization and children’s perception of power, supported by a fellowship from the Heinrich Böll Foundation. She worked as a research associate in gender studies at Humboldt University of Berlin and became involved with ADEFRA from 1993 onward. Together with Grada Kilomba, Peggy Piesche and Susan Arndt, she co-edited the 2005 anthology *Mythen, Masken und Subjekte. Kritische Weißseinsforschung in Deutschland*.
