Margit Eckholt

Margit Eckholt (born 1960) holds a doctorate in theology. She taught dogmatic and fundamental theology at the Institute of Catholic Theology at the University of Osnabrück. Her roles included directing the Latin America–Germany scholarship program and chairing AGENDA – Forum katholischer Theologinnen e.V., an association of Catholic women theologians. Her areas of work included intercultural and feminist theology, the Second Vatican Council and its reception in Latin America, as well as theology and spirituality.
