Christoph Theobald SJ (born 1946) is a Jesuit theologian. He was a professor of systematic theology, fundamental theology and dogmatics at the Centre Sèvres, also known as the Facultés Loyola, in Paris. His academic roles included holding the Karl Rahner Chair and directing the French-language critical edition of Karl Rahner’s works. He also worked with the theological journal Recherches de Science Religieuse, edited the Unam Sanctam series published by Éditions du Cerf, and served on the scientific advisory board of the Istituto per le Scienze Religiose in Bologna.
