Wolfgang Beck

Wolfgang Beck, born in 1974, is a Catholic theologian and priest of the Diocese of Hildesheim. He studied Catholic theology in Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Graz, where he also earned his doctorate. In 2015, he took up a professorship in pastoral theology and homiletics at the Philosophical-Theological College of Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt am Main. During several years as a chaplain, Beck was also involved in youth work; during this period he developed his “Think-about-Tour,” intended to introduce young people to the sacrament of penance. He has also served as a presenter of the ARD program “Wort zum Sonntag.”
