Laura Maire, born in Munich in 1979, trained as an actor at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. She became known for a leading role in the ARD series »Verdammt verliebt«, which marked her breakthrough in 2002. She worked as an actor, audiobook narrator and dubbing artist. Among other roles, she provided the German voice for Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen in the »Twilight« series. She received the German Audiobook Award for Best Interpreter in 2011 and 2014.
