Ursula Poznanski

Ursula Poznanski was born in Vienna in 1968. She began her writing career with children’s and young adult books and published successful young adult thrillers such as *Erebos* and *Saeculum* from 2010 onward. In 2011, *Erebos* received the German Young Adult Literature Prize from the youth jury. Her other young adult novels include *Layers*, *Elanus*, *Aquila*, *Thalamus*, *Cryptos*, *Shelter*, *Oracle*, *Scandor*, and *Erebos 3*. She published her first thriller for adults, *Fünf*, after the success of her early young adult novels. Before becoming a writer, Poznanski worked as a journalist for medical journals.
