Patrick Bach (born 1968 in Hamburg) is an actor and voice actor. He was discovered at a football match in 1981 for the television series “Silas.” He later appeared in the television productions “Jack Holborn” (1982), “Anna” (1987), and “Laura und Luis” (1989). In the film adaptations of “The Lord of the Rings,” he provided the German voice for Sean Astin as Samwise Gamgee. Bach received the Bambi award in 1982 and 1994 and the Golden Camera in 1987.
