Julia Leeb

Julia Leeb was born in Munich and is known as a photojournalist and filmmaker specializing in virtual reality. Her work took her repeatedly to war and crisis zones, including the Congo, Syria, Libya and South Sudan. Her images have appeared in international newspapers and on television. In 2016, Elle named her one of its 80 international “personalities,” while Refinery29 included her among the 29 most inspiring women in Germany. Her work “North Korea – Anonymous Country” was published in 2014.
