Frank Becker (born 1963) is a historian. He taught modern and contemporary history at the University of Duisburg-Essen, with a focus on the intellectual and cultural history of Europe since the late eighteenth century. His publications include “Den Sport gestalten. Carl Diems Leben (1882–1962)” (2009) and, as co-editor, “Die Spiele gehen weiter. Profile und Perspektiven der Sportgeschichte” (2014).
