Suze Rotolo

Suze Rotolo (born 1943) grew up in Queens, New York, as the daughter of Italian communists. She met Bob Dylan in Greenwich Village in 1961. During their relationship, she introduced him to visual art, theater, and poetry, thereby influencing his early work. In 2005, Rotolo appeared in Martin Scorsese’s documentary film “No Direction Home,” about Dylan’s early years.
