Jan Karsten

Jan Karsten studied American Studies and German studies at the University of Hamburg. He worked as a publisher, editor, translator and copy editor. Together with Zoë Beck, he ran the literary publishing house CulturBooks from 2013 onward. As a translator from English, he translated works by, among others, Carl Nixon, Keith Gessen and Kathryn Scanlan.
