Don Winslow

Don Winslow (born 1953 in New York) is an American author known primarily for his thrillers and crime novels. His best-known works include „The Power of the Dog“, „The Cartel“, „The Border“, „Savages“, „Corruption“ and the „City“ trilogy. Before becoming known as a writer, Winslow worked as a private detective, counterterrorism instructor and trial consultant. He received the 2011 German Crime Fiction Prize (International) for „The Power of the Dog“. Several of his works have been adapted for film and television.
