Annette Hug

Annette Hug (born 1970 in Switzerland) studied history in Zurich and Women and Development Studies in Manila. She worked as a lecturer and trade union secretary before becoming an author, journalist and translator from Tagalog. Her novels include *Lady Berta* (2008), *In Zelenys Zimmer* (2010), *Wilhelm Tell in Manila* (2016) and *Tiefenlager* (2021). In 2017, she received the Swiss Literature Award.
