Frank Kodiak is the pseudonym of German thriller writer Andreas Winkelmann, who was born in 1968. After studying sports science, he worked as a soldier, sports teacher, taxi driver, insurance specialist and freelance editor before becoming known as a writer. His thrillers have repeatedly reached the top ten of the Spiegel bestseller list.
