Eva Rossmann

Eva Rossmann (born 1962 in Graz) is an Austrian author, essayist and screenwriter. She studied constitutional law and worked as a political journalist and radio and television presenter before becoming a freelance writer. She is best known for her sociopolitical crime novels featuring Viennese journalist Mira Valensky and her Bosnian-born friend Vesna Krajner. Her other works include the political novel »Patrioten« and the cookbook »No Stress. Mira kocht«. Following the publication of her crime novel »Ausgekocht«, Rossmann also worked as a chef at Buchinger’s restaurant Zur Alten Schule. Her distinctions include the Austrian Buchliebling award (2009) and the Leo Perutz Prize (2014).
