Eva Rossmann

Eva Rossmann (born 1962 in Graz) is an Austrian author, constitutional lawyer and publicist. She worked as a political journalist and radio and television presenter, and has written nonfiction, screenplays and crime novels. She is best known for her sociopolitical Mira Valensky series, featuring the Viennese journalist Mira Valensky and her Bosnian-born friend Vesna Krajner. Her works include “Ausgekocht,” “Patrioten” and “Fine Dying.” Following the publication of “Ausgekocht,” Rossmann also worked as a cook at Buchinger’s Zur Alten Schule restaurant. Her honors include the Austrian Buchliebling award (2009), the Großer Josef-Krainer-Preis (2013) and the Leo-Perutz-Preis (2014).
