Christoph Wagner

Christoph Wagner (1954–2010) was an Austrian author, theater critic, and cultural journalist. He studied German, English, and cultural management and became cultural editor of the Viennese newspaper Extrablatt in 1981. From 1984 onward, he regularly published restaurant columns. Wagner wrote numerous books, chiefly cookbooks and works on cooking, gastrosophy, and cultural history, as well as crime novels, cabaret programs, and plays. He also co-edited the Austrian restaurant guide Wo isst Österreich? His work received several awards.
