Henry Keazor

Henry Keazor (born 1965) is an art historian. His academic career included a professorship in art history at Saarland University from 2008 to 2012 and a professorship in modern and contemporary art history at Heidelberg University from 2012 onward. His research has focused on early modern art, particularly French and Italian Baroque painting, contemporary architecture, and the relationship between art and media, including film and music video. He has also published on art forgery. In 2020, he received the Académie Française’s Prix du Rayonnement de la langue et de la littérature françaises. His publications include Nicolas Poussin (2007) and Raphael’s School of Athens (2021).
