Anke Benstem

Anke Benstem (born 1969 in Salzgitter) is a journalist and author. From 1997 to 2002, she was responsible for press and public relations at an environmental agency; she subsequently worked as a freelance journalist specializing in travel and nature. She has written travel guides and texts for several illustrated books and was part of the Reisefeder editorial partnership. The jointly run travel blog was twice named among the top ten travel blogs in Germany. Benstem’s work focuses particularly on northern Germany and Scandinavia.
