Alexander Friedman

Alexander Friedman, born in 1979, studied history, philosophy and German as a foreign language at Belarusian State University in Minsk and Saarland University. His professional experience includes research and teaching at Saarland University, Sciences Po Paris and the University of Luxembourg, where he worked as a senior researcher. His research focuses on Russian and Soviet history, National Socialism, the history of Jews in Eastern Europe, and self-images, perceptions of others and enemy images during the Cold War.
