Ann Kathrin Ast

Ann Kathrin Ast, born in Speyer in 1986, studied cello at the Mannheim University of Music and completed a master’s degree in oral communication and rhetoric at the University of Regensburg. She published poetry and prose; her texts appeared in anthologies and journals including „manuskripte“ and „wespennest“ and were translated into French and Turkish. Her poetry collection „vibrieren in dem wir“ was published by Parasitenpresse in 2022. Her awards include the Feldkirch Poetry Prize, the Martha Saalfeld Advancement Award, the Hilde Zach Literature Fellowship and the Palatinate Prize for Literature (Emerging Talent Award).
