Alexander Gallus

Alexander Gallus (born 1972) studied history and political science in Berlin and Oxford. He was a junior professor of contemporary history and the history of political thought at the University of Rostock and subsequently was appointed to the chair of political theory and the history of ideas at Chemnitz University of Technology. His publications include “Die Neutralisten. Verfechter eines vereinten Deutschland zwischen Ost und West 1945–1990” (2006), “Heimat ‚Weltbühne‘. Eine Intellektuellengeschichte im 20. Jahrhundert” (2012), and “Revolutionäre Aufbrüche und intellektuelle Sehnsüchte. Zwischen Weimarer Republik und Bundesrepublik” (2021).
