Gunilla Budde (born 1960) is a historian who taught German and European history of the 19th and 20th centuries at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Her research focuses include the European bourgeoisie, East German history, the history of education and music, family and gender history, and the history of modern politics. Her publications include “Frauen der Intelligenz. Akademikerinnen in der DDR” (2003) and “Blütezeit des Bürgertums” (2009).
