Horst Junginger

Horst Junginger studied religious studies, history, and Arabic and Islamic studies. In 1997, he received his doctorate for a dissertation on the history of the academic study of religion at the University of Tübingen. He was a fellow of the International Center for the Study of Antisemitism in Jerusalem and a research fellow at Uppsala University. He taught, among other places, in Tübingen, Munich, and Leipzig. His research areas included criticism of religion, the history of science and religion, antisemitism studies, and new religious movements.
