Angelika Schaser

Angelika Schaser (born 1956) studied history, geography and library science in Munich and Berlin. In 2001, she became Professor of Modern History at the University of Hamburg, where she worked at the Department of History. Her research interests include the social history of the early modern period, nation and gender, women’s and gender history, the women’s movement, religious conversions, biography and historiography.
