Yevgeniy Breyger

Yevgeniy Breyger, born in 1989 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, is a German-language poet. He studied creative writing at the University of Hildesheim and the German Literature Institute Leipzig, as well as at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. Alongside his work as an author, he has worked as a translator, editor and publisher. His poetry collections include *flüchtige monde* (2016), *gestohlene luft* (2020) and *Frieden ohne Krieg* (2023), all published by kookbooks. His awards include the Leonce and Lena Prize of the City of Darmstadt in 2019 and the Munich Poetry Prize in 2021.
