Thomas Heidemann, born in 1973, discovered writing as a hobby at the age of 40. Before or alongside his writing, he worked as a master gardener and managed a garden center. His first published story, “Helfen Sie der Vigilanz!”, appeared in the winning anthology of the 2013/14 Story Olympics. In 2018, his story “Kinder der Maschine” took second place in the competition. Heidemann has published short fiction in several speculative-fiction anthologies and co-edited “Vikings of the Galaxy” with Cara D. Strange. His first novel, “FEUERSTURM – Das McGregga-Armageddon,” was published in 2021; he also wrote the dystopian novel “Jagamasch!”.
