Tommy Krappweis

Tommy Krappweis, born in Munich in 1972, is a musician, comedian, author, director and producer. He began his career, among other roles, as a street musician and stunt performer in Western shows. He became known as a cast member of the comedy show “RTL Samstag Nacht.” Together with Norman Cöster, he created the character Bernd das Brot, for which he received the Grimme Award. Krappweis founded the production company bumm film and the VFX studio BigHugFX. His work includes the fantasy novel series Mara und der Feuerbringer, whose film adaptation he directed, and the Ghostsitter book series. He has also written screenplays, songs and audio plays.
