Christian von Aster (born 1973) studied art and German literature. He worked as a freelance author, director, voice artist, cabaret performer and comic artist. His work includes numerous novels, collections of stories, short stories, screenplays and audio plays in the fields of fantasy, horror, satire and fairy tales. His writing has also appeared in anthologies. He received several awards for different activities, including novels, short films and stage programmes. He also appeared at readings and workshops and collaborated with illustrators and other artists.
